My honours project centred around examining the potential that motion graphics as a medium has to increase interest in history from secondary school students.

To explore this, I created an educational motion graphics video about the Ottoman Empire ruler Suleyman the Magnificent. This light-hearted and informative piece was inspired by Ottoman art of the period and allowed me to experiment with new techniques whilst also pushing the skills I had learned to this point in higher education.

The project was a success, received positive feedback from experts in the field and stakeholders, and was a key component in me receiving my BSc Digital Media & Interaction Design Degree with First Class Honours.
